Aire Floating Shelf Bracket

Brackets are of very good quality. The only issue is that only one of the screws can be driven into a wood stud. It's not really an issue for me because I've had the center hole screw go into a stud and used the included wall anchors for the two side screws. I'm also not putting anything very heavy on the shelf. I used better, longer wood screws to drive into the stud. Everything else is great.

I couldn't believe how this got shipped. It was packaged like it was a Ming vase. The brackets were individually separate from the others. They were made very sturdy. I made a 6' long 1” thick mahogany shelf and add a 2” lip on the front to make it look thicker. Easy to put up in just sheet rock no studs. I priced custom 6' brass railing. Over $200. I used appliance handles 12” long and spaced them. $50 on Amazon. Very happy.

I needed three different size of bracket and 1 of the three sizes were out of stock. Customer service was incredibly helpful in getting the item ordered and delivered in a timely manner. The included hardware was good quality and install was super easy. I will definitely come back to Balin for future projects.

These brackets are so good! Come packaged perfectly so they don't get scraped all up and come with everything to mount including a level and the good wall anchors. We used these to hold up 14lb solid oak shelves. Exactly what we needed

We purchased a new vanity that came with some extra shelving, which I wanted to turn into shelves to match our bathroom. These brackets worked perfectly. You know for what some would just call this a simple shelf bracket, would be considered an insult by this bracket, it goes way beyond that. The first thing that is obvious to me is the pride that is taken in the packaging alone. Every effort was made to ensure these products could ship safely around the globe and arrive as pristine as they were when they left the facility, even at the risk of unfortunate damage sometimes caused during shipping.These brackets were shipped in a solid block of styrene that has been what appears to have been laser cut to protect to the perfect size of the finished product inside. It appears that the same or similar tech went into the cutting these brackets from a sheet of 1/4" steel, predrilled and tapered holes for flush mounting of the screws. With multiple mounting options available, all the necessary hardware along with a level and a properly sized drill bit for either mounting application are provided.The final fit and finish yields a very high-quality product in looks, design and finish with a smooth satin finish powder coated black paint. Strong enough for pretty much anything you intended to hang from a wall, and I personally think it would work very well for a mantel piece. I recently used these floating shelf brackets to mount a shelf in my garage for tools and supplies, and they have exceeded my expectations. These brackets are incredibly sturdy and well-built, with a thick metal construction that feels very solid. I mounted them into wood studs, and I have no doubt they would hold up just as well in drywall with the right anchors. The powder-coated finish adds a sleek touch and will keep them looking great for years. Bracket is great. Used on a 12” deep x 96” butcher block shelf and looks great.

You wouldn't think that a shelf bracket would be so carefully engineered and manufactured, but that's exactly what Balin Designs has done. On this Aire Floating shelf bracket, I appreciate the 3-hole design allowing the center hole to be screwed directly into a stud, if so desired. I've rarely, if ever, seen a product so completely addressed including construction, packaging, installation accessories and even the drill bit and level with magnet.

First of all, it was packaged like a gift!! Secondly, the brackets themselves are stout, not cheap. And thirdly, you include hardware for every circumstance PLUS a level!!!!

Even the packaging of these brackets was high quality. They feel powder coated, very nice and richly colored black. They're solid and I feel comfortable that they will provide ample support.I replaced a pair of traditional triangle-like shelf braces that I had on a long oak shelf and, wow! They give an instant updated and cleaner look to the area.

These are beefy and they come with all the hardware you need to install them. Just be aware, if you're mounting them to drywall/stud wall that only the middle screw will hit the stud and the other two are going to be in drywall because the base of the mount is so wide.Otherwise, the design is solid, the finish is solid, I have no complaints. They are working well for me.

These are heavy (like maybe even cast iron or at least heavy gauge steel) and powder coated to a nice matte black finish. As designed, they are plenty sturdy for a 12" or wider shelf and if it is 1.5" thick, the back of the shelf bracket will be completely concealed for a floating shelf look (obviously you'll see the bracket underneath, but it's nice looking). My only concern is the mounting design. Only one of the three holes can be anchored into a stud, and I would NOT trust drywall anchors for such a heavy set of brackets, a thick shelf like a piece of butcher block (which is what I'm planning), plus whatever you put on it or if someone leans on it. It would be MUCH more sturdy if the three holes for the screws were oriented vertically. I do see why they did it this way though, as that's really the only way to make it truly invisible when the shelf is on. I think I'll put the center hole on a stud and use the drywall anchors on each side for what they are worth. They did include nicely long screws for mounting and even a tiny level. So it still gets 5 stars but just consider that when selecting.

These things are massive and heavy. Each bracket is 1.8 pounds. If possible make sure you can get at least 1 screw of each bracket into a stud. If anchored properly these should easily support their 300lb rating. Would be ideal if you are mounting them to a solid wood panel or something like a 2x4 on the wide side to get all 3 screws into a solid mount. If you're only going into drywall I would probably not test the upper end of the rating. That being said, they are excellent floating shelf brackets. If you are good with wood working you could sink them into the shelf (provided it's thick enough) so they are hidden to appear more "floating" like. These would be right at home in a garage on a long wall shelf for storing multiple heavy tools and other things.

These brackets are HEAVY. If you manage to warp these, I would like to know how much weight youre putting on your shelf, and what kind of wood you used for it not to crack!Packaged very nicely, there was no way they were going to get dinged or scratched during shipment.I highly recommend these brackets.

These are really sturdy and look very elegant. However, I am only able to attach it to drywall, and I feel that they don't hold much weight when just anchored to drywall.
